No Man’s Fort to open for events in November

No Man’s Fort, a man-made island in the middle of the Solent between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight, will open its doors for corporate meetings and events in November following an extensive renovation project.

One of three forts owned by Amazing Venues, the new fort is able to host larger events with capacity for 200 guest and 22 bedrooms for overnight stays.

The new developments include two helicopter pads, a nightclub, laser tag, games room, snooker room, meeting space, rooftop hot-pool, lighthouse, gallery restaurant, wine bar and spa facilities.

Built between 1867 and 1880 to protect Portsmouth from Napoleon III, No Man’s Fort is the larger sister venue to Spitbank Fort, which has been open since 2012.
