Paula Lorimer has left her role as Sales Director and Deputy CEO at Manchester Central and has been replaced by Elizabeth Faulkner, CN can reveal.
Manchester Central confirmed the departure, telling CN that Lorimer has left after seven years at the venue.
A statement from Manchester Central, said: “Paula led the sales team through a period of significant growth and transition, following completion of the £30m redevelopment, and successfully attracted a number of prestigious events to the venue.
“Manchester Central takes this opportunity to thank Paula for the valued contribution she made during her tenure, and wish her every success for the future.”
Elizabeth Faulkner, who was previously Director of Marketing and Communications at Manchester Central, has assumed the newly created role of Assistant CEO – Sales, Marketing and Communications.
Faulkner said: “I am excited about this opportunity to help take Manchester Central onto even greater industry heights. Manchester Central has built up an enviable reputation for hosting some of the world’s best events.
“Being at the heart of one of the world’s most dynamic cities continues to be a huge draw for major events and over the coming weeks we will be developing our team, with the addition of new sales professionals, to build on that success,” she added.
