The Britain for Events campaign has launched a new hashtag designed to promote National Events Month in October. The campaign is using #NEMO to encourage organisers to run new events during the month as well as carry the branding on existing events.
The #NEMO mini campaign is actively encouraging members of the event industry to share the hashtag across their social media platforms.
The #NEMO campaign is also keen to reach event organisers abroad and encourage them to use the UK for their meetings and events.
The National Events Month initiative will focus on four sectors of the industry, each launched by a host event and that will include, Exhibitions and Experiential; Conferences and Meetings; Outdoor, Cultural, Sporting and Music Events; and Corporate Hospitality and Incentive Travel.
