Anita Lowe leaves Capita Travel and Events

Anita Lowe has left Capita Travel and Events to “pursue a new career in the industry”.

Since the 2012 acquisition of Expotel and Lowe’s Venues Event Management, she has been Director of Meetings and Events and played an important part in the integration of the Capita Travel and Events entity into a single meetings and events proposition.

Lowe has latterly overseen the M&E account management and sales delivery of Capita Travel and Events, and will officially leave the agency at the end of September.

“It’s been a busy few years of agency integration but I feel it is now time to leave Capita Travel and Events and pursue a new career in our industry,” she says.

Capita Travel and Events’ Senior Client Development Manager, Hayley Mansfield-Lang is now leading Capita Travel and Events’ specialist M&E account management teams, while Mark Flashman has recently joined the agency as Strategic Business Development Manager, and is now responsible for new business.

Trevor Elswood, Chief Commercial Officer at Capita Travel and Events, says: “Anita has been important in the successful transition to the Capita Travel and Events brand. We thank her for her commitment and wish her the very best in the future. Anita leaves a very settled and focused team. They are so passionate about the specialist differentiation that both venue finding and creative events mean to our customers, and are a credit to our business”.
