The main conference programme for Summer EVCOM14, to be hosted at Olympia London on 17 September, has gone live on the EVCOM website (evcom.org.uk) and carries a unifying theme of collaboration this year.
Two keynote plenary speakers are promised for the one-day event. The new-look association now concentrating on bringing the membership of the events and visual content community together quoted Henry Ford, by way of illustrating the main goals of the event: “Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress and working together is success.”
The format for Summer EVCOM14 will include discussion groups, workshops and panel sessions combined with plenaries incorporating Q&A. Organisers promise delegates the chance to experience new technologies, network and witness a few surprises.
The three main conference streams will cover Content & Channels, Technology & Innovation and Business & Ideas Generation. Individual sessions include:
1. Driving Change through Engagement
2. Collaborate or Abdicate
3. Content Distribution
4. Visual Trends
5. Making Good Planners Great
6. Making Live Happen
Marco Forgione, EVCOM CEO, said: “We are really encouraged by the level of interest already generated for Summer EVCOM. With the challenges, issues and opportunities facing the events and visual content industry at the present time, it is imperative for our members to come together to share experiences, to learn from one another, and to be motivated and inspired by the industry experts who will be speaking at our plenary and interactive workshop sessions. The programme provides the right balance between leading-edge education interactivity and social networking in a relaxed informal setting.”
