Stripping events lecturer told to curb naked ambition

Leeds Metropolitan University events management lecturer Dr Ian Lamond, who performed a striptease during a lecture, has received a warning, but no formal action will be taken.

Pictures and videos of the lecturer in just a pair of grey pants went viral on social media after he undressed in front of a room full of students, reportedly in order to prove a point.

The University told CN that, following an internal investigation, Lamond received a warning, but no formal action will be taken.

A Leeds Metropolitan University spokesperson said: “An internal investigation has taken place. The University has clarified its expectations in lecture delivery and so the matter is now closed.”
