CN was among the first to try Sony’s prototype virtual reality product, Project Morpheus, yesterday (10 July) at Develop Conference in Brighton.
Project Morpheus is set to compete with Facebook’s Oculus Rift – also still in development stage – for dominance of the virtual reality market, which could have an influential impact on event industry projects.
Develop Conference, organised by Tandem Events, took place between 8-10 July at Hilton Brighton Metropole. It featured sessions from companies including Microsoft.
Tandem Events’ MD Andy Lane told CN: “We’ve really got to know the developer circle and what their needs are, so this event has been really well received. Visitors got to be some of the first in the UK to try the prototype of Project Morpheus.”
