Sayer named new Commercial Services Director at The O2

London venue The O2 has appointed Steve Sayer as its new Commercial Services Director. He will be responsible, among other areas, for corporate hire of the venue’s 18 event spaces and teambuilding activity Up at The O2.

Sayer joins The O2 from Manchester City Football Club, where he was Operations Director and where he spent 17 years.

As Commercial Services Director Sayer’s brief is to help The O2 achieve its vision to become the world’s leading entertainment destination.

“The O2 is without a doubt one of the greatest live music and entertainment venues in the world, so it’s exciting to have the opportunity to lead the strategic development of its commercial operations. With so much to offer visitors, from live performances to conferences and events, The O2 provides a fantastic new challenge and I’m thrilled to be joining the team,” says Sayer.
