QEIICC awards PR brief to Custard Communications

London’s Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC) has awarded Custard Communications its PR contract as the venue, this month, continues its extensive refurbishments.

The account was previously held by Aniseed PR.

“Perfecting the customer experience is central to our refurbishment activities and our reputation as a beacon of British excellence,” says QEIICC Marketing Manager, Roopi Woodall, who joined the centre in April. “Our USPs have always been our people, our location and our facilities and providing outstanding customer service remains a priority.”

Felicity Allen, Account Director at Custard, adds: “We’re pleased to have the opportunity to apply our knowledge of the London venue and events market to the QEIICC’s development and growth strategy. It’s an exciting time to be steering the repositioning of the refurbished meetings and events facilities to appeal to new markets.”

The centre is closed through July and August, with all works to be completed by early September 2014.
