Kudos’ shift in business strategy results in new seasonal brand

Catering and venue management specialist Kudos has launched a new corporate identity and brand language to mark a recent shift in business strategy.

Following several new business wins, along with the launch of new food concepts and cafes, Kudos says it is re-inventing itself from its core activity, including managing Livery Halls in the city, to now managing modern conference centres, sports stadiums and stand alone food retail outlets.

Kudos says the shift started in early 2013 with the launch of ’feed’ café at Media City, Manchester and over the past 18 months, following the success of new packaging at Northampton Saints, street food concepts at Harrogate International Centre and the new bakery in Leamington Spa, the organisation has accelerated this strategy.

Kudos subsequently reviewed its purple ’K’ which has represented the business for the past five years. The result has seen the hand drawn font, used for the ’K’, evolve with the full name used in the corporate identity. The brand has embraced a seasonal approach to the visual language which now changes with spring/summer and autumn/winter.

“Our business has evolved so much over the past few years and we have reacted to industry trends as well as spearheading some of our own innovations to shape our vision for the future,” says Managing Partner at Kudos, Jon Pryce.
