Inntel appoints ex-RBS Head of Events to manage M&E

Meetings and travel management provider Inntel has appointed former RBS Head of Events Jenna Lee as its new Meetings and Events Manager.

Lee spent 13 years at RBS where she was responsible for managing the bank’s involvement in large global events, including the International Monetary Fund, Olympics and World Cup.

Inntel reports its meetings and events business is up 41 per cent year-on-year at a time of sustained growth.

The agency said Lee would be taking over “a rapidly-expanding Meeting & Events department that already includes AXA, Lloyds Banking Group and First Group among its clients”.

“I’m proud to be leading such a strong and successful team,” said Lee. “Over the coming months we will be looking to grow Inntel’s M&E business event further by focussing on our quality of service, process efficiencies, internal and external relationships.”

She added that, after working for large financial institutions, she wanted to work for an agency “where my own experiences can add real value to a diverse client base, and where growth is based on strong client relationships”.

Welcoming Lee on board, Inntel MD Douglas O’Neill said: “This is a period of rapid and sustained growth for Inntel. We are already meeting the needs of a broader client base and Jenna’s appointment, together with our leading M&E technology will help to take our offering to a new level.”

Colchester-based Inntel is privately owned, with annual billings of over £44m.
