George P Johnson Managing Director leaves

George P Johnson UK’s VP, Managing Director Olivier Vallee has left the organsation.

The agency revealed to CN it is searching for a new MD after Vallee decided to leave his role to explore new opportunities.

Whilst that search is being carried out (George P Johnson’s holding company) Project: Worldwide CEO for EMEA Joost Dop will assume Vallee’s responsibilities.

Dop said: “I would like to thank Olivier for his important contribution to the business over the past few years. We wish him well for the future. George P Johnson has a strong management team which is very capable of running the business in the interim while the search for a new managing director is under way.

“Our strategy is to maintain our position as one of EMEA’s leading experience marketing agencies and this key management role is integral to those ambitions.”

Joost was appointed as CEO EMEA for Project: Worldwide last year from WPP where he was most recently COO at TeamHSBC, operating out of its London office.

In that role, Dop oversaw the delivery of integrated marketing services to HSBC across more than 50 markets.

CN last week exclusively revealed that Project Worldwide veteran Kim Myhre has joined FreemanXP.
