Celebrating 10 years of the very best in British Cheerleading, Future Cheer will bring thousands of cheerleaders to the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) for the UK’s National Cheerleading competition, which takes place 12-13 July 2014.
Returning to the BIC for the fifth year running, this national event organised by Future Cheer, is expected to attract 20,000 people.
“We are looking forward to welcoming Future Cheer back to the BIC next week,” said BH Live Director of Venues, Pat Coyne. “Over 20,000 people are expected into town during the course of the weekend to enjoy a lively, energetic and exciting competition alongside all that our resort has to offer. Visitors are estimated to generate up to 52,000 bednights and £6.5m in economic benefit to the local economy.”
Future Cheer Directors Ian and Tessa Crow, added: “The whole team at the BIC works closely with us throughout the year to plan this event and Bournemouth is the highlight in the cheerleading calendar.”
