Seasoned to assist tying the knot at Tower Bridge

London event caterer Seasoned, part of the Crown Group, has helped secure a wedding licence for the high level Walkways at Tower Bridge, London.

Historically, couples tying the knot at the world’s most famous bridge would hold their wedding ceremony in the North Tower Lounge. Now registrars at Tower Hamlets will be able to conduct ceremonies within the north side of both the east and west walkways.

Chris Earlie, Business and Marketing Manager for Tower Bridge said: “We are delighted that the Walkways at Tower Bridge are now approved for weddings and civil ceremonies, and very excited to work alongside the creative events experts at Seasoned. What better setting for couples to tie the knot than inside one of London’s most romantic locations, against the perfect backdrop 42 metres above the River Thames.”

Meanwhile, Hospitality Solutions, the hospitality sales specialist division of the Crown Group, has secured the hospitality contract for the Coronation Cup, part of the Audi International Polo Series at Guards’ Polo Club Windsor, in July 2014.

All ticket sales, logistics and catering of the exclusive packages which include BBQ’s, VIP tickets and an after match party, will  be managed by Hospitality Solutions.

The event owner, Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA) had historically worked with Keith Prowse but changed to the smaller boutique service.

Hospitality Solutions will hook in Seasoned Events for catering, as well as other fellow Crown Group members Piggotts for the marquees, The Event Hire Company for the furniture and Jobs2Go for the staffing.

Charles Beer, Managing Partner of the Crown Group, said: “This is a fantastic annual event and we are thrilled to be associated with delivering the VIP hospitality packages. Hospitality Solutions have a real affinity with niche sporting events on the social calendar such as the Polo and Henley Regatta.

“Our businesses across the Group have a huge amount of experience at delivering premium services to clients and guests where there is a high level of expectation. This is just one of those occasions amongst a whole calendar of must-go-to events in the social calendar.”
