NT Temporary Theatre available as pop-up events space

The National Theatre’s Temporary Theatre on London’s South Bank will be available for a limited five-month time run as a pop-up events space, prior to its relaunch as a drama venue in spring 2015.
Corporate event bookings are being taken at the venue for events between 15 September 2014 and 28 February 2015.
The raw steel, plywood and brilliant red rough timber cladding of the Temporary Theatre’s exterior covers an event space suitable for product launches, conferences and receptions and dinners. It can accommodate 185 for a conference.
Charley Taylor-Smith, Head of Hospitality Events and Commercial Business Development at the National Theatre, says: “The Temporary Theatre will give us the opportunity to offer event organisers an exciting, ‘limited edition’ chance to be associated with the National Theatre’s latest award-winning space.”
The Temporary Theatre opened in April 2013 to provide a third home for the National Theatre during the Cottesloe Theatre’s closure for redevelopment and reopening as the Dorfman Theatre.
