MPI UK&I to offer insight on CMP applications at MPI Learns event

As part of the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Learns event on 16 June at 30 Euston Square in London, Liz Rice, MPI UK&I VP of Certification, will provide an insight on how corporate and agency buyers can take the next steps in making their application to take the Certified Meeting Professionals (CMP) examination.

The CMP offers an internationally recognised qualification with education concentrating on 10 domains and over 30 skill sets.

Those applying for the CMP must demonstrate not only an amount of experience in a relevant role in the events industry but also a minimum of 25 CE Credits. The masterclass will go through past MPI activity, and future boot camp activity, to assist those applying in how to compile past credits and in gaining future CE Credits.

The boot camps, to be held from September onwards, will cover all 10 domains of the CMP examination over two days and gain attendees no less than 10 CE Credits. These will be interactive sessions with case studies and examples of best practice from industry leaders.

“The CMP offers the industry an internationally recognised benchmark,” says Rice.

“MPI has gained strong interest from corporate and agency buyers to spearhead the education and qualification process in the UK. This session will cover the how-to of applying and also give attendees an insight into the content and structure of the MPI boot camps later this year.”
