The International Special Events Society (ISES) UK Chapter has appointed Lucie Hone (pictured) as Operations Manager. She takes over the position vacated by Toni Griggs last month.
Previously Production Coordinator at Tony Ball Associates and before that at George P Johnson, Hone has worked within the events industry over the past four years at leading agencies.
Hone will be the only full-time employee of ISES UK and will be responsible for the day to day management of membership and event activities of the UK Chapter. She will also work closely with the ISES EMEA Affiliate Chair to facilitate cross chapter strategies.
“This is an exciting challenge and one that I’m looking forward to,” Hone says.
“ISES take an innovative approach to delivering events and that is something I really admire. I’m eager to put my stamp on the UK Chapter and look forward to building relationships with our ever growing membership, while continuing to drive the association forward as the leading creative events association,” she adds.
Jane Hague, ISES UK President says: “We’re delighted to welcome Lucie on board. She joins with a lot of hands-on experience and enthusiasm and I’m looking forward to working with her to continue delivering a strong programme of educational events to our members and the wider industry.”
