As the capital celebrates London Technology Week, London City Selection, the City of London venue marketing consortium, has revealed its members have invested over £1.9m in technology over the past 12 months.
Venues such as The Barbican, America Square, Whitechapel Gallery, Plaisterer’s Hall and LSO St Luke’s have been investing in Wi-Fi, AV and digital and production equipment, as London Technology Week showcases the capital as the digital capital of Europe.
London City Selection Chair Diane Waldron (pictured) says: “The City is London’s business hub and for us in the conference and events industry it’s important to keep up to speed with new developments in the digital age. It’s vital that we stay ahead of the game in terms of connectivity and technology support for our clients and conference delegates.”
