Marylebone-based RIBA Venues, the conference and events arm of the
Royal Institute of British Architects, is to host the fourth Guardian
Sustainable Business Awards on 14 May 2014.
The awards, organised by Guardian News and Media, shine a light on the people and projects helping businesses to be more sustainable and organisers expect 300 guests to RIBA Venues’ Florence Hall for the event.
Past winners have been companies that were set up to solve a specific sustainability problem or that built sustainability into the fabric of the business from the outset. Winners have included Marks and Spencer, B&Q and the National Trust Wales.
Guardian News and Media’s Event Executive Ruth Kiveal says: “RIBA Venues has excellent sustainability values and therefore fits nicely with the theme of the event and was a perfect choice as venue partner.”
RIBA Venues has worked closely with Guardian News and Media to formulate a fully sustainable menu for the event using British produce and Head of Venues, Stephanie Ellrott, says her team is “excited to be working with the organisers for the second year”.
