New monthly destination index introduced by Pacific World

Global DMC and event management organisation Pacific World has developed a new destination index, which it says provides corporate, association and agency planners with an advanced indicator of destination popularity for international meetings, incentives and events.

“The objective with our new initiative is to provide meeting professionals from all sectors and industries with insight knowledge, which will support them on a daily basis,” said Global MD of Pacific World, Herve Joseph-Antoine.

“Whether they are looking for key cities or new emerging destinations for their next conference, congress or incentive event, or would purely like to stay informed and gain fresh ideas, the index delivers all of this in the form of a monthly newsletter.”

The Pacific World index offers information from a DMC point of view and is based on over 5,000 international enquiries received worldwide, actual meeting and event results and feedback from attending delegates from around the globe.

Pacific World says the frequent research allows it to identify special interests in geographical areas, type of events, meeting activities and themes, as well as attendee requirements and regional developments.

The first index has been launched this month and indicated that the top destinations include South Africa, Portugal, Monaco, Hong Kong, Indochina and China.
