Following new business announced earlier this year, conference and association services agency Contendam has said it has won two new international conference clients to add to its portfolio.
The International Society for Influenza and other Respiratory Viral Diseases (ISIRV), which will take place in Tokyo, Japan, in June this year, has contracted Contendam to deliver its International Conference in Chicago in 2016, with organisers expecting up to 1,500 delegates.
Contendam says it has been in discussions with ISIRV, supporting the organising committee with its city selection process. Contendam has now been contracted for full PCO services.
Contendam also confirms a new contract for the ESSR 2015 Conference (European Society for Surgical Research), which will take place at Liverpool University, UK in May 2015.
Contendam will work with local conference ambassador Thomas Theologou and they expect 300 participants to attend the event.
Contendam MD Susan Hayden, said: “Both of these contracts are a result of prolonged discussions with the relevant parties, rather than through the traditional or typical sales process. It is great to see that our conscious efforts to engage, over long periods of time with people that we believe we can assist and truly add value to, is working”.
Contendam was launched last year following a management buyout of Congress UK, part of the Congrex Group.
