Church House Conference Centre will host football legends and celebrities for a VIP screening of a live England match during the Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
More than 300 people are expected to attend the screening of the match between England and Uruguay on Thursday 19 June.
The event is being hosted by Paragon Hospitality and VIP Events, and will include a gourmet three course dinner followed by the game, which will be broadcast on a large projector screen in the Assembly Hall.
The dinner will be hosted by Sky Sports’s Ed Chamberlin, and a team of pundits will talk guests through the match, including Southampton idol Matt Le Tissier, former England cricketer Phil Tufnell, Arsenal legend Paul Merson and top-flight referee Dermot Gallagher.
“We contracted Church House to hold our World Cup screening as it is the perfect fit to host our VIP clientele and legendary football personalities,” says Head of Events at Paragon, Lucy Ainsley.
Robin Parker, GM of Church House Conference Centre, adds: “The Football World Cup is a great sporting occasion. The screening at Church House will provide guests with the opportunity to enjoy it in style with a host of VIP guests.”
