Chambers Travel and Events expands its team

Full service agency Chambers Travel Events has expanded its team with the appointment of Mike Leeson as Senior Events Manager, Martha Allen as Event Co-ordinator and Jade Lynch as Digital Marketing Executive.

The agency, part of London-based Chambers Travel Group, is also looking to hire an additional project executive.

Chambers Travel Events recruitment drive has taken place on the back of a 39 per cent increase in turnover during the last year, which includes new business worth £1.5m.

Leeson brings 11 years experience in the MICE industry including three years as Area Manager for live events specialist Rough Hill, and stints as an Account Manager at Grassroots, and a Business Development Manager at Sandown Park. He will be responsible for heading up event delivery and account management at Chambers.

Allen’s background in the hospitality industry includes roles with BrandPie as an Event Co-ordinator and Smith of Smithfield as a Private Dining Co-ordinator over the last three years.

Lynch joins from Quintessentially Travel, where she was Marketing and Product Assistant for two years. She will focus on online content including event news, travel blogs, social media and email marketing.

“It has been an outstanding 12 months for Chambers Travel Events and we are now the fastest growing division within the Chambers Travel Group,” says Frits De Kok, Marketing and Events Director at Chambers Travel Group. “I am delighted to welcome three more specialist staff to the team in order to consolidate our growth as effectively as possible.

“We are still looking to complete our recruitment drive with an additional project executive so that we are in the best place to continue delivering exceptional service and high-quality events for our international client base,” he adds.
