ACC Liverpool is reporting its busiest June in recent years, with 15 events lined up at the venue during the month.
The venue’s BT Convention Centre will host 10 events, with a further five taking place in its Echo Arena.
The ACC Liverpool’s busiest June in five years will see 45,000 visitors come through the doors, according to management, with the events expected to generate £20m in economic impact for the city.
June’s conferences include NHS Confederation, the British Association of Urological Surgeons, Royal College of Nursing and Unite. A selection of events will take place as part of the city’s International Festival for Business such as Accelerate 2014 and Undersea Defence Technology (UDT).
Concerts taking place in June include Dolly Parton, The Eagles and Jason Derulo.
Bob Prattey, Chief Executive of ACC Liverpool, said: “June is always a particularly busy period for us with a series of large returning conferences such as The Royal College of Nursing, which alone will bring more than 4,000 delegates.
“On top of this busy calendar, IFB is bringing in more opportunities such as UDT, which is a new defence sector for us to explore, and the return of Accelerate which will see thousands of entrepreneurs gathering in our venue.”
