The Royal College of Physicians (RCP), London, will host the 10th annual International Donor Registry Conference in partnership with the World Marrow Donor Association (WMDA) on 14-17 May 2013.
Over 200 delegates are expected to attend the WMDA working group meetings followed by the International Donor Registry Conference, hosted by blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan.
The event programme is designed to educated delegates on the key issues relating to bone marrow donation and transplants with educational sessions from expert speakers on subjects including transplant outcomes and donor availability.
The event will use the venue’s Wolfson auditorium for the plenary session along with four additional breakout spaces and the medicinal garden for a reception.
“We are delighted to be hosting the 10th International Donor Registry Conference,” says Sales and Marketing Manager at RCP Natacha Allen. ” The work of the charity is truly inspiring and we are proud to have been chosen as the location for such a key milestone in the history of their work and research.”
Richard Davidson, Marketing and Communications Director for Anthony Nolan, adds: “The first International Donor Registry Conference was held in London 20 years ago and it’s fantastic to have it back in the capital in 2014, hosted by Anthony Nolan in the fortieth anniversary year of the charity.”
