Leeds Met’s Kate Davis joins Venuemasters board

Kate Davis, Head of Business Development at Leeds Metropolitan University, has joined the Board of Directors for Venuemasters, the academic venues marketing consortium.

Venuemasters represents 95 academic venues across the UK, promoting their facilities for meetings, group accommodation and short breaks.

Davis was elected to the Board at the group’s recent annual general meeting.
 
“It’s an honour to be elected as a Board member and I look forward to working together with colleagues at other venues to drive Venuemasters towards further growth,” says Davis.
 
Venuemasters CEO, Terry Billingham adds: “Kate is has been actively involved with Venuemasters for a number of years and her experience of the sector will be a great asset to our Board of Directors.”
 
Davis also sits on the Board of the Leeds Hotels & Venues Association.
 
Leeds Metropolitan University’s Well Met Conferencing site boasts a portfolio of venues including The Rose Bowl, Carnegie Village, Cloth Hall Court, The Great Hall and Queenswood.
