Event marketing company Evvnt has acquired Middlesborough-based events communication start-up EventSneaker as part of its global expansion into the events market.
Evvnt says the combination of its marketing reach and EventSneaker’s tracking of this reach back to revenue and attendees will further aid event organisers worldwide.
“It was clear from early conversations with the entrepreneurs at EventSneaker that they had really focused on event organisers’ need to secure a clear return on investment for every single outbound marketing activity from a tweet to a text,” says CEO of evvnt, Richard Green.
The acquisition introduces services including email, SMS, mobile and social media measurement to evvnt’s marketing toolkit.
Over the coming months evvnt will be integrating EventSneaker’s staff and technology into its own services.
