Allianz Park, home to the Saracens, has expanded its events department with the appointment of a new team member, who will focus on mass participation events.
Eugene Attalah joins the venue following a six month internship at Competitor Group, an active lifestyle resource dedicated to promoting running, cycling and triathlons. His role focused on sports marketing and event management and he also contributed to the organisation of the European Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon series.
As part of the events team at the rugby stadium, Attalah will focus on raising awareness of the size of spaces on offer across the 26-acre site and developing relationships with large-scale events across the culture and fitness sectors. The first event of this type will be mass participation yoga taking place at Allianz Park on 29 April.
“We’re pleased to bring Eugene on board to develop the future of the stadium by showcasing the gamut of events that Allianz Park is suitable for,” says Neil Ormondroyd, Event Director at Allianz Park. “We want to encourage event organisers to not only consider the indoor spaces, but also our 20 acres of outside space, which includes an artificial pitch.”
