ZSL London Zoo’s Summer Showcase attracts 350 event bookers

ZSL London Zoo opened its doors to 350 event bookers for a Summer Showcase on 26 March. It was the Zoo’s second large-scale private viewing since the opening of the new Terrace Restaurant and newly refurbished Prince Albert Suite.

The three and a half hour special event showcased ZSL London Zoo’s function spaces with The Terrace Restaurant and Prince Albert Suite providing the setting for networking. Other spaces explored by guests on the night included the Penguin Beach and outdoor space Barclay Court.

Event bookers were welcomed with Pimms jelly and mandarin scented Prosecco drinks while watching a bespoke Penguin Beach Live! Display. Guests sampled the new deep-south BBQ menu with bourbon pork belly and miniature classic burgers which were provided by onsite caterers Ampersand.

The ZSL London Zoo Events and Hospitality team was on hand to give tours of the event spaces and explain the packages available for corporate and private events to guests throughout the evening.

ZSL London Zoo Events and Hospitality also showed their range of suppliers and teambuilding packages including Liquid Chefs, Ice Box London, TSC Events, Lick Me I’m Delicious ice cream and instant lollipops, Fishee Designs photo booth, singer Emel Michael and Funny Faces face paint.

The Zoo’s animal residents, including an energetic armadillo, also joined in the evening to give guests a taste of the animal encounters on offer at ZSL London Zoo.
