Event management and venue booking agency Zibrant has been awarded a Gold accreditation by industry body Investors in People in recognition of its commitment to developing, supporting and motivating its employees.
Zibrant becomes part of the three per cent of organisations in the UK recognised in this way, meeting 165 different standards which included commitment to values, personal development and social responsibility.
“This is a fantastic endorsement of our continued commitment to helping our colleagues be the best they can be,” says Helen McCabe, MD of Operations at Zibrant. “We are committed to providing a workplace where people feel they are given the right opportunities to succeed through reward, training and engagement.
“We know this is not just important to us as a business, but also to our customers and to be one of the three per cent to achieve IIP Gold is outstanding. We are also proud to have achieved Gold accreditation for the second consecutive time.”
Zibrant says its commitment to staff has also been reflected in a number of employees returning to the agency after a period of gaining experience elsewhere in the industry. In 2013, 20 per cent of individuals who left Zibrant returned to the agency.
Fay Sharpe, MD of Zibrant (pictured), adds: “It’s fantastic to be acknowledged for investing in our employees, as creating and maintaining a supportive work environment has been one of our key priorities as the business has grown. We’re also pleased to welcome back a number of staff members, who bring with them expertise gained in other oganisations; these returning team members demonstrate that our commitment to developing and motivating employees is also recognised internally.”
