Triggerfish hooks AIM PR brief

London-based Triggerfish Communications has been appointed by the Meetings Industry Association (mia) to increase awareness of its Accreditation in Meetings (AIM) scheme within the corporate, association, agency and government buyer community.
AIM was launched in 2007 as a UK conference, meetings and events industry accreditation of product and service quality assurance. The standard, which is divided into three levels ranging from entry to gold, has been adopted by 500 venues nationwide.
Nick Milne, Chair of the AIM development group, said: “With the economy showing clear signs of recovery, the meeting and events industry must be well prepared and positioned to take maximum advantage of the opportunities lying ahead. Equally, procurement managers are more aware than ever of best practices on CSR, service levels and product quality. At such a crucial time AIM’s key messages and benefits need to be stressed loud and clear to a targeted audience of corporate, agency and government buyers as well as venues; we believe Triggerfish Communications is the right company to help us do this.”
Triggerfish MD Andrew White added: “We are delighted to work with the mia on this project. We are keen to promote AIM within our industry network and help them achieve their communications objectives. On a personal note, this account gives us the perfect opportunity to campaign actively for the implementation of quality standards and service levels in the sector.”
