Telford secures medical association conference

The British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK) will hold its annual two-day spring conference at The International Centre, Telford, on 10-11 March 2015.
Around 350 delegates are expected to attend the conference, including orthopaedic knee specialists.
“The venue is situated in a beautiful part of the country, with good transport connections, and has all the space and meeting facilities we need to hold our association meeting,” said Event Manager at the British Orthopaedic Assocation, Hazel Choules. “Our two-day programme always attracts a high attendance of delegates and speakers from all parts of the UK and overseas.”
Tom Gray, Chief Executive of Southwater Event Group which owns The International Centre, said the venue is pleased to have secured another conference in the medical sector. “We’ve been working hard to attract medical associations to our venue as our flexible facilities lend themselves particularly well to the sector, and our targeted approach is definitely paying off.”
