Event and hospitality supplier Horseradish will provide event catering and logistical support for Chester Rocks, which takes place at Chester Racecourse from 6-8 June.
The event, which has gone from two to three days and is sponsored by Ab InBev, generated over £500k in 2013.
Artists lining up for this summer’s three-day open-air concert include: Dizzee Rascal, Razorlight and The Hoosiers, as well as local bands.
A record crowd of 15,000 attended the event in 2013 and Kate Dawson, Head of Sales at Horseradish, says: “We’re excited to be working on Chester Rocks for what is an exciting line-up. The event takes place between race meetings and polo tournaments, but highlights our capacity to accommodate several large scale events within a short time frame.”
Chester Racecourse Chief Executive, Richard Thomas says: “We’re thrilled to be hosting Chester Rocks again in June this year. It’s a key feature within the Chester events calendar. Due to the popularity of the event last year, the demand for the event has now exceeded just two days and this year we will introduce Friday evening to the weekend line-up.”
Horseradish also provides venue management and catering solutions at Chester Town Hall, Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse and Llangollen International Pavilion.
