AYMTM reports increase in long haul incentive travel

Incentive travel and motivation agency, AYMTM has revealed that long haul incentive travel trips for larger groups are on the increase, with the USA the most popular destination.

The agency has reported a 25 per cent annual increase in long haul incentives over the past three years.

Destinations most in demand include the USA (Las Vegas and New York), Dubai and, most recently, the Maldives.

“During the course of the recession and up to 2012, Europe dominated our incentive destinations with smaller group sizes,” said MD at AYMTM, Natalie Gunson. “Since then, we’re seeing an average increase of 25 per cent per annum with 2014 set to be a record-breaking year in delegate numbers and long haul destinations. Our clients have chosen routes such as the US and Dubai with direct and frequent flights from the UK.”
