Hertfordshire-based urban events specialists Wildgoose Events has reported a 63 per cent increase in events following the launch of its indoor tablet-based team event ’Around the World’.
“We have noticed a massive spike to our indoor teambuilding events in the past three months and demand for technology-based indoor events continues apace,” says Operations Director at Wildgoose, Peter Barker. “This growth supports the fact that more and more teams are looking to use technology as part of their team events and bodes well for our new app which we will be launching on the global market in spring.”
Around The World is an interactive tablet-based experience that challenges participating teams to work their way virtually around the globe. The teams are armed with a Samsung Galaxy Tablet as their passport and guide, it is then down to the team virtually to visit a number of countries and activate the ’hot spots’ in order to complete a range of local, national and international challenges to earn points.
Wildgoose says the continued uplift in sales and events has led to four new members joining the team.
Freddie Macdonald (pictured) has joined as the new Sales Manager and is based in the South West, with sales responsibilities to grow the level of business Wildgoose undertakes in the region. Gemma Smith is the company’s newest Account Manager with responsibility for developing relationships with the company’s existing clients. Lilli Muehleisen has joined the team as a Project and Event Manager, while Mandy Chase has joined as Marketing Executive.
