Having your conference stage set come to life with vibrant brand messaging, scrolling video and 3D flourishes is no longer the preserve of Bill Gates budgets.
Settling for drab foamex signage, predictable LED star cloth and cumbersome cardboard sets has long been unsustainable and frankly, unfashionable. However, for corporates desperate for impactful, memorable alternatives there’s good news: 3D and projection mapping are now accessible for total event budgets of around £50k, meaning your corporate messaging is about to hit the big time.
The trick to keeping costs down is to use technology sparingly and tastefully. Much like a firework display, having a whizz bang 3D projection montage is a bold statement but, often, this technology is best used when it brings to life a corporate message, enhances your new product or makes your proud financial data into a spectacle.
Showing delegates a new beer bottle rotating in the ether, or having a bar chart appear in glorious 3D at a mere hand gesture by the speaker is a world away from yawn-inducing Powerpoint slides – and makes maximum use of your budget.
Corporates can also re-use graphics to maximise their longevity, for example by repurposing a bespoke backdrop at several events.
A short, but targeted and punchy display means that set pieces don’t distract from a presenter and enhance the event’s message without drifting into self indulgence.
