Drpgroup’s new exhibition venture to mind the gap

Conference and event management company drpgroup is aiming to set new trends in the exhibitions sector with the launch of its new division, drpexhibition.

The group said there has been an increase in demand for higher quality exhibitions and the need for a dedicated resource to be on hand.
The new division, which went live 3 February, will sit within the full servicing offering of drpgroup, but also as a standalone operational service, building its own clients, offering a full range of exhibition services including global project management, design/build and manufacture stands, and graphic creation and orientation of artwork.
Drpexhibition added that it aimed to change the way the group accesses the exhibitions market both globally and within the UK. The firm has expanded over the last 12 months adding more than 25 new team members, including Ed Vickery who, after leaving the drpgroup eight years ago, has forged a career at leading exhibitions and design agencies such as Iguana Group and the DSA.
“The timing has never been better for event agencies to hybridise with the exhibitions world,” said Vickery. “Working with, and as part of, the drpgroup, I intend to set new trends in the exhibitions sector, closing the perceived gap between the events and exhibition industries – all while increasing attendance, interaction, engagement and reporting. It’s set to be an exciting year ahead.”
