Cendyn, provider of interactive marketing solutions for the hospitality industry, has acquired Arcaneo, developers of Metron.
Cendyn Arcaneo will now offer a strategic meeting management (SMM) solution that serves hotels, enterprises and suppliers.
Announcing the deal at the Business Travel Show, which opened on 4 February in London, Charles Deyo, CEO of Cendyn, said Metron’s web-based solution allowed planners “to manage the meetings process in a standardised, easy-to-use format”.
Cendyn Arcaneo’s fully integrated system, he claimed, allowed enterprises to finally measure the true cost of ROI for meetings, while gauging the Return on Objectives as well as improved response times and compliance tracking with 360° visibility.
Deyo claimed companies hosting up to 1,000 medium to large events per year could realise savings of over £30,000, based on reduction of labour and materials.
“By forming Cendyn Arcaneo and providing the next-generation strategic meeting management solution, we are able to provide the richest capabilities to meeting planners and stake holders on a global scale,” said Deyo, who also announced the European launch of ‘getplanning’, an application for stakeholders involved in planning an event.
