195 Piccadilly, home of BAFTA, says it has achieved significant growth over the past two years, as it appoints Julian Shaw to the newly created role of Director.
With a range of media clients from the film, television and vide games industries, through to the financial sector and service industries, the venue says the rate of bookings at the beginning of 2014 is already showing a 20 per cent lead on January 2013. 195 Piccadilly says more than 50 per cent of its business comes from repeat clients.
Julian Shaw, formerly a Director at the Gorgeous Group, joined BAFTA 195 Piccadilly on 24 February. Shaw has spent the past decade leading the Gorgeous Group’s strategic planning, product development and service delivery for a host of global clients from the world’s leading hotels and restaurants.
“Julian’s in depth understanding of crating engaging and memorable guest experiences will bring an innovative and cutting-edge approach to BAFTA 195 Piccadilly’s hospitality and create new dynamism for the product and service currently delivered to members and clients alike,” says Kevin Price, Chief Operating Officer of BAFTA.
