Wildgoose to partner with TeamBonding on US market

Hertfordshire-based urban events specialists Wildgoose is to target the events market Stateside following a new licensing deal in the USA with teambuilding company, TeamBonding.

TeamBonding’s clients include Fortune 500 companies such as Coca Cola, Apple, eBay, L’Oreal and Sony as well as smaller non-profit groups and universities.

Jonny Edser, MD of Wildgoose Events welcomed the link up, claiming it was a “great opportunity for us to develop the market in the USA with a leading partner. TeamBonding love what we do and we are excited about the development of our new app, which will take our teambuilding events to a whole new level when it is launched this spring”.

Edser says the two-year deal with TeamBonding is part of Wildgoose Events building a ‘global community’ of the leading event companies across the world who can share information, ideas and business.

“It’s our goal to have 20 global partnerships by the end of 2014 and TeamBonding is our 10th,” says Edser. “Our existing licencees are based in New Zealand, South Africa, Malta, Canada, Denmark, Singapore, Belgium, France and of course we have our Wildgoose Scotland franchise. Next on our target ‘hit list’ are Australia, India, Dubai, Spain, Ireland, Germany, Italy, France and China.”

David Goldstein, CEO of TeamBonding says: “We are delighted to have signed a deal with Wildgoose. They are entrepreneurial and pioneering and their teambuilding events fit our ethos perfectly.

“Technology and gamification are the hottest trends in event and teambuilding and we are excited to work with Wildgoose as their tablet and smartphone app is cutting edge and will help us lead the way in this exciting time where technology and teambuilding come together. We are excited to deliver events on iPads and iPhones, Android tablets and phones and look forward to introducing events that haven’t been seen in this country before. We are equally excited to be a part of an international network of teambuilding providers which will help us meet the needs of our multi-national clients.”
