UKIP returns to Torquay for its National Spring Conference

The UK Independence Party (UKIP) will hold its National Spring Conference 2014 at Torquay’s Riviera International Conference Centre (RICC) in February.

The two-day conference, which runs from 28 February to 1 March 2014, is expected to attract 1,000 delegates.

“Following the close of our last conference at the RICC, we received a large number of compliments about how good the venue was and how polite and cheerful the staff were,” said Chairman of UKIP and organiser of the 2014 Spring Conference, Steve Crowther.

“We had no hesitation in considering the RICC one again and look forward to working with the team again.”

UKIP were last at the RICC in September 2010, for its Annual Conference.

“We are always thrilled to welcome large, high profile events such as this and in particular the return of this conference,” says Chairman of Torbay Council and UKIP Councillor, Julien Parrott. “The obvious benefits, including the expected media attention, are invaluable to the RICC and the Bay.”
