BDRC’s VenueVerdict Awards have been announced with QHotels, EEF Venues and etc.venues achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction ratings during 2013, across three categories: Large Group, Mid-sized Group and Small Group.
For the VenueVerdict Awards, venues and groups are benchmarked on a number of measures, and the groups recording the highest headline scores for the year are independently recognised as providing the best customer experience for meetings and events.
As well as the number one Large Hotel accolade and number one Hotel award for its Westerwood Hotel and Golf Resort, QHotels was awarded the top honour – the Gold Standard Group award.
The Gold Standard Group award is bestowed upon the brand with the largest amount of Gold Standard Accreditations at the end of the year. QHotels achieved 22 Gold Standard Accreditations over the course of 2013’s quarterly assessments.
Etc.venues picked up its number one Mid-Sized Hotel accolade for the third consecutive year, while EEF Venues was named No 1 Small Group and Best Value for Money Group.
EEF Venue’s three venues also scooped Gold Standard Accreditation in The VenueVerdict Accreditation Programme, a comprehensive measure of service standards.
Church House Conference Centre was again awarded the BDRC Venue Verdict Gold Standard as recognition for its high quality of customer service. Sundial Group’s Woodside venue was also awarded the Gold Standard.
“Over seven years that we have been running this programme, we have seen a consistent increase in the quality standards from the many participating venues,” said Client Services Director at BDRC, James Bland (pictured). “Their participation in independent external accreditation is evidently repaid by closer customer relationships resulting from the better service they are able to provide.”
The VenueVerdict Awards are based on research conducted by independent market research agency BDRC Continental and feedback from over 22,000 event hosts across over 360 venues, and look at how likely guests are to recommend the venue.
