Performing Artistes at the IoD

A celebrity-laced audience came to the Institute of Directors on Pall Mall, London, last night (15 January) for the Performing Artistes speaker bureau’s annual drinks and networking evening.

Directors JJ Jackson and Matthew Fisher showcased some of the bureau’s up and coming talent as well as providing an opportunity for clients to mix with existing popular speaker talent, including Falklands veteran Simon Weston, John Sergeant, Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson DBE, Gerald Ratner, David Dein, Tessa Sanderson CBE and comedians Stephen K Amos, Patrick Monahan and Chris Turner, who raised plenty of laughs with a set each. The Three Magicians also cast a brief spell over the audience.
Jackson and Fisher spoke about their Speaker Showcase involvement in International Confex, at the second day of the show at Olympia on 13 March 2014.

Jackson told Conference News: “We were delighted to see so many of our clients attending our Speaker Drinks, with over 100 coming along, and also for so many speakers to join us, too.

“We are also thrilled to be returning to International Confex with our Speaker Showcase. This year is going to be bigger and better than ever before, with contributions from online Dragon Julie Meyer, Bank of Dave’s Dave Fishwick, and We Bought a Zoo’s Benjamin Mee.”
