Karren Brady to keynote at International Confex 2014

Karren Brady CBE, Vice-Chairman of West Ham United Football Club, business ambassador, UK sporting executive and star of The Apprentice, will provide the keynote speech on day one of International Confex this year.
Brady, known as ‘The First Lady of Football’, is also the former Managing Director of Birmingham City Football Club. On top of her appearances on BBC One alongside Lord Alan Sugar in The Apprentice, she is also a Small Business Ambassador to the UK Government and is engaged as International Confex keynote via the Performing Artistes speakers bureau.
“We’re thrilled to have Karren speaking at International Confex this year, she is a truly inspirational business guru with a view across business and sport; all relevant to many of our visitors to the show this year,” says Event Director Donna Bushell.

“This will be a very popular session so we’re encouraging visitors to register quickly and ensure they don’t miss it.”
Brady’s other accolades include becoming the youngest Managing Director of a UK plc when Birmingham City FC floated in 1997, and before that the youngest Managing Director of a top flight football club, also with Birmingham City, a role she took on when she was just 23. Brady is also a regular writer for Woman & Home magazine and The Sun. She has also published four books including two novels.
“We have an outstanding content programme at International Confex this year, with Karren being another brilliant addition; we’re looking forward to hearing what she has to say,” adds Bushell.
