Manchester Central has won the right to host the three-day Northern Home Show, 4-6 July 2014. The show moves across town from its 2103 host venue, Event City.
Twelve thousand visitors are expected at the show’s first edition at Manchester Central next year.
The event will include workshops on how to tackle DIY projects, free seminars, advice areas and one-to-one consultations. Up to 200 specialist exhibitors are expected at the show.
Angie Robinson (pictured), Chief Executive of Manchester Central, said: “What better place to host some of the UK’s leading architects and designers than the iconic setting of Manchester Central. We look forward to welcoming The Northern Home Show to Manchester Central for what will be a fantastic event.”
Richard Milbourn, the Show Director said: “The facilities and visitor experience at Manchester Central are second to none and I’m sure The Northern Home Show will continue to expand and flourish in such a top class venue.
“We will carry on adding new elements as the show draws nearer and make sure there is a wide range of products for the home improver and renovator, as well as the self-build visitor.”
