Gallus Events conference launch wins agency and ISES support

Event management company, Gallus Events, headed up by Conference Architect William Thomson, is launching a new, innovative conference called WhoStoleMyAudience, which he says, aims to “change you and your events”.
The two-day conference, held 24-25 April within a creative space in East London, will cover in detail how a creative approach to conferences will prevent the flow of slipping delegate numbers and revenues by increasing the engagement of stakeholders and crafting a creative environment.
The key theme is how organisers need to understand and control the behavioural change of their attendees and stakeholders. The conference will also cover topics such as gamification, meeting design, creative sponsorship, stand out marketing and promotion.
The speaker line-up for WhoStoleMyAudience includes Smyle’s Creative Director, Matt Magertson, who recently saw his agency Smyle win agency of the year at the Eventia Awards. The agency representation continues with Randle Stonier, CEO and Founder from Adding Value, and Jez Paxman, Creative Strategy Director at Live Union.
“We are delighted to be involved in the initiative,” says Margetson. “We have always operated with a creative edge to everything we do and believe that creativity is not confined to just visually impactful events or big budgets. We are only too happy to actively support those conference organisers who want to be more creative.”
The creative conference approach is supported by Jane Hague, UK President of The International Special Events Society (ISES). “This event fits perfectly with ISES and our support for the creative element within the UK events industry,” she says. “We really hope to see associations, publishers and corporate conference companies adopting a more creative approach.
“Judging by the content and Gallus Events’ track record we are sure this event will help develop creativity in the sector.”
Gallus Events recently transformed the flagship event for the British Dietetic Association, putting into practice many of the creative techniques that will be covered in WhoStoleMyAudience. Its Tech Fest event in the event technology sector is now in its third year.
