Congress Centre Breathless with ITV anticipation

Fans of the new ITV medical drama, Breathless, may have spotted Central London conference venue Congress Centre as one of the locations used in the filming of the series.

During the summer crews filmed scenes involving the exterior of the building, along with the reception area and the Marble Hall.

The series begins in 1961 and is set around a busy gynaecology unit, with medicine the stage to play out the shifting moral codes of early sixties society.

actor Jack Davenport, along with Joanna Page of Gavin & Stacey fame and Cutting It’s Sarah Parish all feature.

Robert Girvan, Centre Director at Congress Centre, says: “The whole team is really excited to catch sight of Congress Centre as the drama unfolds. It’s great to see the venue being used in such a different way.”
