New Events Co-ordinator for 17th Century stately home Carlton Towers

Nicola Shann has joined the Carlton Towers in North Yorkshire as its new Events Co-ordinator. Carlton Towers is a 17th Century stately home set in 250 acres of private parkland in Carlton.
Prior to joining Carlton Towers, Shann was Sales Co-ordinator for playground marking company, Magical UK, generating sales from zero to over £70,000 through her negotiation skills.
Owner of Carlton Towers, Lord Gerald Fitzalan Howard, said: “We are delighted to have such a dedicated sales professional join us here at Carlton Towers and look forward to welcoming more delegates to enjoy the estate.”
Carlton Towers is located near to the M62 and M1 motorways. It has a maximum occupancy for 200 delegates in the three staterooms, but much larger events can be catered for within the 250 acres of parkland. There are 16 bedrooms with a capacity for up to 31 guests.
The estate boasts the 11-acre Carlton Lake, which is available for outdoor pursuits and incentive activities including fresh water fishing.
In 2011, Carlton Towers participated in the filming of a documentary series for Sky Atlantic. The Guest Wing was a six part series screened in April 2012 (of which Carlton Towers featured in four episodes) that focused on selected UK stately homes and their aristocratic owners, and featured Lord and Lady Howard.
