Legacy Hotels and Resorts to manage Newquay’s Hotel Victoria

UK hotel management company, Legacy Hotels and Resorts, has signed a three-year deal to manage and operate The Hotel Victoria in East Street, Newquay.

Fifty staff at the newly-named Legacy Hotel Victoria will be retained, while current owners, the Taylor family, who have owned the venue for the last 40 years, will continue to operate the on-site Mexican restaurant, Irish bar and a 2,100-capacity nightclub.

“The Taylor family has run the Victoria hotel to a high standard over the last four decades and it is located in a position overlooking Great Western Beach in Newquay Bay,” says MD of Legacy Hotels and Resorts, Jim Gordon. “We have experience in running three- and four-star hotels across the UK and we are pleased to have signed a full management contract for the next three years to build on the hotel’s success.

“This is an exciting addition to our portfolio and we are looking forward to welcoming leisure and business guests,” he adds.

The hotel is available for leisure breaks, conferences and weddings.
