The Police Federation of England and Wales has recently confirmed it will be holding its 2014 annual conference and exhibition at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC). It will be the sixth consecutive year the Federation has held its annual gathering in the town.
BIC is expected to host 4,000 delegates and over 50 exhibitors for the Police Federation’s 90th Annual Conference, 19-22 May 2014. The three-day event is expected to contribute £6.5m of economic benefit to the area through business tourism.
Steve Williams, Chairman, Police Federation of England and Wales, said: “We are delighted to be holding our Annual Conference 2014 in Bournemouth. The BIC is an ideal venue to hold what is our main event of the year and significant for the policing family, stakeholders and officials throughout the country and overseas.”
BH Live Chief Executive, Peter Gunn, added: “It is always a pleasure working with the Police Federation team and we are thrilled they have chosen to return to Bournemouth and the BIC for their 90th annual conference and exhibition.”
